Fidesco takes part in development projects initiated and run by partners from the Churches of the southern countries, in particular by providing financial support and by sending international solidarity volunteers on long-term missions in the field to put their skills and faith at the service of those in need.

our mission
In Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe, many partners call on Fidesco to strengthen and sustain local projects. Our partners – dioceses, parishes, congregations, Catholic foundations – need skills that they cannot find locally. Fidesco works alongside them by developing missions to serve the poorest and the development of the countries to which the volunteers are sent.
Nearly 2,000 volunteers have already experienced service, a founding experience from a human, spiritual and professional point of view. They have gone out to meet other people in all their differences, and have forged solid links with them by living alongside them and helping the smallest and most vulnerable.
Strengthened by our 40 years of mission, we continue to build a culture of culture of fraternity by adopting a multidirectional missionary approach adapted to each state of life.
